LIBRARY AUTOMATION

Abstract

This Paper discussed about the concept of automation, its requirement and various components helps to automate library. The impact of ICT has changed the library operation and its functionality in to a fast to faster mode. Library automation reduces the drudgery of repeated manual efforts in library routines by use of library automation collection, storage, administration, processing, preservation and communication etc. It increases productivity in terms of both works as well as in service.
