Abstract

This paper summarizes the progress and the future directions of m-commerce. It is said that everything happens for a reason. Simply then, finding that reason is more often a grueling practice session than a simple task.Thankfully, what transpires in commercial interests, so many masses that Google search pages suffice in unveiling almost all of the apparent and unapparent reasons behind any observed change. Nowadays when every other e-commerce player is enthusiastically enticing us to purchase from their app, the intrigue worthy question is whether m-commerce is the newesttrend or a well-thought out action.M-commerce is a term that is applied to bring up to the developing practice of leading financial and promotional activities with the purpose of a wireless handheld device.The term m-commerce is short for mobile commerce, and realizes that the dealings may be conducted by means of mobile phones, personal digital assistants and other handheld devices that have operated with Internet access.The rapid deployment of mobile communications and the increasing availability of reasonable smartphones have led to an improved use of mobile-only internet in developing states, which, in turn, is boosting mobile commerce in these states.India with over 1 billion mobile connections is optimistic about a flow in m-commerce transactions, which will switch the way online business is conducted in the rural area and show the way to a marked switch from the rampant e-commerce to a m-commerce business model.
