In this research tell about the financial performance of select automobile companies in India. To analyze the profitability ratios like Net profit ratio, return on asset, return on capital employed and return on equity. The objective of this research is to analyze the profitability ratios in five automobile companies in India. The research is a descriptive research and it is a convenience sampling. The companies are select in the BSE based on market capitalization the companies select. The names of the five companies are Eicher Motors, TATA MOTORS, Ashok Leyland. Force Motors and SML Isuzu. The tools used in this research are to mean, standard deviation, co variance and correlations. We concluded that the Eicher motors company performing their net profit, return on assets, return on capital and return on equity very well and the rest of the four companies has to concentrate their performance in all sectors.
