An entrepreneur is people who manage the entire business activities with his skill and abilities. The study of entrepreneurship is emerging in faster pace in the global arena. Today we find business everywhere. Young entrepreneurs develop new businesses with the help of government and other financial institutions and the success of these new businesses is a big challenge. In addition women are budding in business with new and high creative ideas which is accepted by the society. This paper concentrates on such women entrepreneurs who perform various business activities and their role in maintaining records and financial statements of the firm. The study revolves on the area mainly covering the part of maintenance of financial accounts of the firms managed by women entrepreneurs. The research aims to bring an insight on the awareness of women entrepreneurs on maintaining the financial records/accounts of the firm.
