Abstract

Literature is a reflection of life. An analysis of literature unravels an intriguing picture of the collective psyche of the people at a particular period of time. The various facets of human life are projected in its myriad hues in many literary works. Literature and psychology are, in many ways, related to each other. Psychological analysis of novels open up new horizons for the exploration of the experiences of the human mind. This paper is an attempt to analyze a prominent novel of William Golding – The Spire.
