Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) is a commitment of business to run business ethically and simultaneously improve economic of the country. Business improves life quality of employees as well as local community and society at large. Corporate Social Responsibility is basically a business approach that work towards sustainable development, it delivers economic, social and environmental for all internal and external stakeholders. Through CSR activities companies show their concern towards community and environment where they run their business. These activities can be waste management, pollution reduction process, employment generation, providing education and many more. Companies go for CSR because it improves their public image, it attracts investors and creditors, it encourages foreign funders, it builds a positive workplace environment etc. Corporate Social Responsibility is a mandatory act for companies. In India according to section 135 of Companies Act 2013, the board of the company ensures that company is spending at least 2% of their average net profit made during the three immediate proceeding financial years.
