Cops commonly refers to Police officer of state which are bounded as an apprehension of criminals and for the prevention and detection of crime, protection and assistance of the general public, and the maintenance of public order. They have the power to arrest people and detain them for a limited time, along with other types of duties and power, overall we can say that they have the responsibility of stopping crime of every sphere in the society. There are different kinds of the officers who are sworn to an oath, recruited after particular process, completing certain prescribed qualifications and trained specially for variety of duties to perform such as counter-terrorism, surveillance, child protection, VIP protection, civil law enforcement, and investigation techniques into major crime including fraud, rape, murder, and drug trafficking, etc. They are often used as an emergency service and may provide a public safety function at large gatherings, as well as in emergencies, disasters, search and rescue situations, and even at road traffic collisions kinds of incidents. It shows that they are performing kinds of the varied duties and responsibilities in the state and to enforce the law in the state created by the government due to which they are also known as a law enforcement officer or peace officer.
