Abstract

With the growth of internet accessing clients, it has become a giant hurdle for technology to adapt with the demand in an efficient manner. For massive storage of Data there is provision of Data Centers but this increases the consumption of energy as well as maintenance costs. In order to manage oversized resource provisioning, optimal utilisation of energy and error-free network data transportation lead to unchecked Quality of Service, Delays and Jitters. To cope with such difficulties, Cisco designed Fog- Edge Computing which leads to next step in the field of distributed paradigm. In this paper, an attempt is made to understand Fog computing and its impact in regularising cost and energy factors which can hamper environment by releasing excessive heat of processing otherwise.
