Abstract

Buddhism introduced in China in 1st Century CE and it is considered the most important events in the history of China. From that time it has influenced the Chinese civilization. Buddhism has influenced almost all aspects of their lives like religion, philosophy, art, music, literature, Science and many more areas. It dominated the mind of the Chinese people for a long time in a way that they found new ways of living life. It did not stop even after the decline of Buddhism in China. Here it is also to be mentioned that Chinese people adopted Buddhist ideas and concepts in their own ways. In a way, Buddhist ideas lost their original nature and they were modified in their own ways.
