FAMILY TYPES AMONG MARITAL ADJUSTMENT OF DUAL CAREER COUPLES

Abstract

The present research focused on family types among marital adjustment of dual career couples. The study sample was working married female teachers from Chhattisgarh. The sample 320 was stratified randomly selected from Chhattisgarh district. The total teachers were married. The family type is a demographic variable of the subject, the stratification on this variable will be done through the personal interview and the researcher asks orally whether subject belong to nuclear or joint family and the samples completed self-report measures of the Marital Adjustment through Marital Adjustment (Kumar and Rohatgi, 1985). One Way ANOVA was used for data analysis. Finding of the study indicates that the family types are able to generate significant variance upon the marital adjustment of female teachers of dual career couples.
