Abstract

Gender differences are a major crucial factor for growth and development in India. The women are taking part in economic productivity since the earlier times, their role in house selections was neglected through male-dominated society. Also, women are lived below extreme poverty further aggravated by household and social discrimination. Their empowerment has great potential in leading the country to timid development. The target of inclusive growth and overall development largely depends upon the gender equality and women standing within the rural society. The preceding five-year plan marks a major migration from the normal way to explore women sharing in the plan documents.
