Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see relationship of selected kinematic variables with the performance of slice service in Tennis. The subjects for this study were five male tennis players of LNIPE, Gwalior. The age of the subjects between 18 to 24 years. Videography was employed in order to register the technique of the subjects in slice service. The camera being used for the purpose was Canon 70-D Eos and the subjects were filmed only in sagittal plane. Each subject was given ten trails and the sum of all the scores was used for analysis. Linear and angular kinematic variables had insignificant relationship with the performance of subject in slice service in tennis.
