Abstract

The involvement and contribution of women workers in various sectors of work as one-half of the entire population is highly significant in every country. However, the recognition and accounting of their contribution differs from place to place and country to country. The recognition and accounting as such also differs in accordance with the nature of work visibly in the modern formal sectors in comparison to traditional informal as well as agricultural sectors.
