Abstract

Economic Progress has not always taken into account of its potential impact on our society and environment. Many people have been excluded from the benefits of development leading to social inequality, natural resources are depleting at a faster rate leading to our environmental degradation. Modern economy offers a variety of products and services to the consumers to improve their quality of life, but this improvement is at the cost of environmental degradation such as pollution, congestion, wastage, adverse impact on health.
