EFFECT OF YOGA AND AEROBIC EXERCISES ON PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF COLLEGE GIRLS WITH IRREGULAR MENSTRUATION CYCLE

Abstract

Menstruation signifies good health of a mother if it occurs regularly and without excessive pain, fatigue, or blood loss. Most women carry on their usual activities during menstruation. Although strong emotions and violent shock hit female sexual gland that in turn either stops or starts menstruation suddenly or sometimes cause permanent impotency, its irregularity sometimes depends upon low-fitness, physical inactivity and unhealthy lifestyle. Since Yoga has been recognized as a good system of lifestyle and helps for hormonal balance in enriching a state of homeostasis, it was hypothesized that Yoga may prove better to control menstruation problems of low-fit college women.
