Abstract

Attitude is a mental and neural stage of readiness organized through experience exerting a dynamic influence upon the individual’s response to all situations and objects with which he is related.Attitude is a hypothetical postulate, which implies a broad-based behavior tendency in individuals. Attitudes have to be analyzed in the light of real life situation to which they are related. Attitude cannot be directly observed, but only through inference. Attitudes are evaluative statements; they refer one’s feelings either favourably or unfavourably towards person, objects or events. Attitudes are nothing but how one feels about somebody or something. Attitude is a learned predisposition towards aspects of our environment. Attitude refers to the way in which your mind is oriented relative to the circumstances both within you, as genetic and habitual dispositions, and outside of you, such as the organizational, cultural, social and ecological roles that you play.
