Abstract

Abstract “Circuit training is “A method of physical conditioning in which one moves from one exercise to another, usually in a series of different stations or pieces of Equipment”. In circuit Training each of several stations has a designated task. The students move from station to station, generally in a prescribed order, completing the designated fitness task at each station. Activities should contribute to various components of physical fitness (strength, power, endurance, Agility and flexibility). A group of sixty selected in the age group of 17-22 years were selected as a subject from amity university Haryana. After that two groups were formed consisting thirty each. One group is named as control group and other is experimental group. Before adopting the circuit training exercise on the heart rate max.was measured of both the groups. After this the experimental group was subjected for experimental treatment of circuit training exercise for a period of six weeks and after this final test of heart rate max was recorded of both control and experimental group. The raw scores of subjects collected were subjected for the tabulation of mean, standard deviation, standard error, t- ratio, and co-relation to find out the statistical significance. The calculated t value is compared with the table t- value at 42 degree of freedom at 0.05 level of confidence, which was given by Clarke and Clarke. Based on the mean value this can be mentioned that there is a significant improvement on the experimental group of amity university Haryana girls. This present article deals with the effect of circuit training on sports person.
