INDIA’S INTEREST IN - AFGHANISTAN

Abstract

Indo-Afghan relation is based on historical contacts and exchanges between the people. A new era was down when both the countries signed the strategic partnership. The stop was more important for Afghanistan as it was passing through a transition period. India became more cautious about its future by making long term commitment to the security and development of Afghanistan. The author discussesthe development process between the two countries and laying emphasis on economic security. This is important for Afghanistan as she is fighting against terrorism and the impact on her economy is great. As such India, along with external powers have used force to maintain stability and peace in Afghanistan.
