‘ए रूम ऑफ वंस ओन’ और स्त्री लेखन की विशेषताएं

Abstract
‘ए रूम ऑफ वंस ओन’ का प्रकाशन सर्वप्रथम सन् 1929 में हुआ। यह पुस्तक वुल्फ द्वारा सन् 1928 में यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ कैंब्रिज के दो कॉलेजों न्यूहैम और गिर्टन में ‘औरत और कथा साहित्य’ विषय पर दिए गए व्याख्यानों पर आधारित है। इस विषय पर बोलते हुए वर्जीनिया वुल्फ ने जिस तथ्य पर सबसे ज्यादा बल दिया वह यह कि स्त्री को यदि साहित्य सृजन करना है तो उसके पास अपनी जगह, अपना स्पेस होना चाहिए, जो उसकी आर्थिक-राजनीतिक स्वायत्तता का प्रतीक है।
