Even though foreign policy refers to the sum total of principles, interests and objectives which a countrypromotes while interacting with other countries, it is not afixed concept.As such India's foreign policy was shaped byseveral factors, including its history, culture, geography andeconomy as well as changing international conditions.The end of the cold-war and the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was hoped that unipolarity has arrived.
