Abstract

Abstract: The need to improve the status of women and promotion of women’s roles in development are no longer seen merely as issues of human rights and social justice. Promoting is now widely recognized as crucial in achieving sustainable development. This descriptive paper indicates and emphasizes the women entrepreneurs as the potentially emerging human resource in the 21st century. The primary objective of this paper is to find out the status of women entrepreneurs in India. Today’s woman is no longer a traditional resource confined to homes only rather are educated, knowledgeable and innovative part of the overall population. On the basis of this paper some recommendations are given to promote spirit of women entrepreneurship and helping the women to become a successful entrepreneur. Another main purpose of this paper is to analyze the various factors related to women entrepreneurship. So that they get more empower and also eligible to give employment to others.
