STUDY OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF PHYSICAL EDUACTION TEACHERS IN RELATION TO THEIR OCCUPATIONAL STRESS

Abstract

The present study aims at studying the relationship between the emotional intelligence and occupational stress of physical education teachers. The study population included secondary school teachers working in Muktsar district of Punjab, India. Random sampling techniques was used for data collection. The frequency mean and standard deviation were calculated. Study revealed that physical education teachers with low emotional intelligence were more stressed than teachers possessing high emotional intelligence.
