Abstract

Society is a web of relationship amongst individuals interacting with each other as actors and playing multifarious roles. Every person in the society, whether he or she is mother, father, brother, sister or daughter has to perform his or her duties according to certain norms and social needs. Similarly the physicians, surgeons and nurses and expected to perform their professional duties according to certain code of conduct, in the interest of society. "Being a doctor, a nurse, a father or a patient means that the individual is place in a certain situation and this implies certain prescribed actions.
