Abstract

The recent figures of growth in GDP and per capita income in India (i.e. approx 51 thousand) indicate the growth of economic development in the country. And from recent past, there has been emphasis on the inclusiveness of such economic growth. Inclusion is based on the belief that we all fare better when no one is left to fall too far behind and the economy works for everyone. Inclusion, involvement and participation have become important ways of ensuring that the marginalised and excluded feel they have a stake in the modern social order.
