The rate at which an employer gains and losses its staff is called employee turnover. If an employer is said to have a high turnover, it most often means that employees of that company have a shorter tenure than those of other companies in that same industry. A certain amount of turnover is necessary and healthy for an institution; too much staff turnover can lead to excessive costs. Turnover is a major problem for many organizations because it is extremely costly for the employer, particularly in jobs which offer higher education and extensive on the job training. One of the best known expression of the point of view that of Chomsky: “I am Frankly, rather skeptical about the significance, for the teaching of languages of such insights and understanding as have gain attained linguistics and psychology.... Non- performing assets are one of the major concerns for public sector banks in Pune district. There seems to be no unanimity in the proper policies to be followed in resolving this problem. A high level of NPAs suggests high probability of a large number of credit defaults that affect the profitability and net-worth of banks and also erodes the value of the asset. NPAs affect the liquidity and profitability, in addition to posing threat on quality of asset and survival of banks. The problem of NPAs is not only affecting the banks but also the whole economy.

“To Alexis in Answer to his poem against Fruition. Ode” can be found in Behn’s “Lycidus: Or The Lover in Fashion… Together with a Miscellany of New Poems”, published in 1688. That same volume contains two other poems which will be discussed further on, i.e. “To Alexis, On his saying, I lov’d a Man that talk’d much” and “To the fair Clarinda”. In eight stanzas this poem reflects upon the “hapless sex”, men, who are indicted for not being faithful to one woman but always wanting more and entertaining one relationship after the other. As the title indicates, the poem deals with the poetical character Alexis, who will also turn up in several other poems by Behn. Remarkably, in this poem, in contrast to the previous poems discussed, the voice of a male speaker appears towards the end of poem, in answer to the dominant female voice complaining about men in most part of the poem. A closer analysis will try to provide answers as to why Behn would choose to let a male voice enter into the poem, and also look into the way men’s behaviour is described throughout the poem.

Religion is an all-pervasive phenomenon of traditional societies. In societies which are at transition stage, effect and influence of Religion has though reduced to some extent but still it continues to rebound with full force when its tenets are challenged. Thus, two opposite and unequal forces co-exist in developing societies. The religious tenets are still all-encompassing and excel if conflict arises between the two. This paper is an attempt to find out the place of religion in Industrializing Societies and its future trends.
